所長的話
安 全、 效 率、 品 質 及 綠 色 為 交 通 部 當 前 四 大 施 政 主 軸， 而 打 造 友 善 無 縫 (Friendliness)、 具 有 產 業 機 會 (Opportunity)、安全可靠 (Reliability)、 悠遊易行(Mobility)、永續發展 (Sustainability)， 以 及 具 有 觀 光 魅 力 (Attraction)的FORMOSA 永續交通運 輸環境， 提供以民眾為中心的「人本 交通」服務則是交通部的施政目標。本 所長期扮演交通部智庫角色，肩負支援 交通部政策擬訂、協助部屬機關及地方 政府落實運輸政策、建立運輸系統技術 標準與資訊平台，以及承擔運輸產官學 研跨域溝通等工作。面對交通部四大施 政主軸與施政目標，本人期勉全體同仁 皆能秉持「專業領航、追求卓越」的精 神，兼顧經濟發展、環境保育及社會公 平等永續發展面向，建立創新與前瞻的 思維，善用與整合最新的資通訊技術， 以有效支援交通部提升整體運輸系統的

Safety, efficiency, quality, and eco-greenare the four main policies of the Ministry ofTransportation and Communications (MOTC).
Meanwhile, building Taiwan into a Formosawith friendliness, opportunities,reliabilit y,mobility, sustainability, and attraction to provide a people-centered service with“Humanity- Oriented Transportation Development”is MOTC’s goal of administration for asustainable transportation environment. As theMOTC think tank over time, our duties includethe formulation of transportation policies, assistancefor subordinate agencies and localgovernments to implement transportationpolicies, establishment of technical standards and technical information platforms for thetransportation system, and co- ordination ofinterdisciplinary transportation research amongthe government, academia, and researchinstitutions. Face up to MOTC’s four policesand administration goal as mentioned above, Iencouraged my colleagues, based on the spirit of “Professional Navigation, Pursuit of Excel-lence” and sustainability of “Economic Development,Environment Protection and SocialEquality”, to develop innovative and visionarythinking, utilize and integrate Information CommunicationTechnology (ICT), in order to assistthe MOTC in improving the safety and servicequality of the overall transportation system.
