               (d) The Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) will include e-cigarettes in each unit of the joint investigation team, and the e-cigarette inspection will be incorporated into the illegal drug inspection plan. The TFDA will also continue to supervise county and city health departments, and announce the statistical results of e-cigarette inspection and testing in a timely manner to remind citizens of the impact of e-cigarette chemicals on health. (e) The National Police Agency of the Ministry of the Interior assists competent health authorities in the investigation and prosecution of e-cigarette cases. Upon inspection of nicotine contents by competent health authorities, seizure cases are brought to justice for violation of regulations set forth in the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act. 171cases occurred in 2018. (f) On December 7, 2015, the Ministry of Education issued letters to request all colleges and universities to assist in tracking the source of electronic cigarettes in campuses in order to prevent students in campuses from the hazards of electronic cigarettes. ◎ A suspect named Lin in Taoyuan City began selling e-cigarette oil and illegal substance on the online shopping platform starting in May 2018. After long-term surveillance and collection of evidence, the Third Special Police Corps uncovered more than 10,000 e-cigarette products at Lin's rented house in Taoyuan by November 2018, which were transferred to the Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office during the investigation for violation of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act    128
