Second-hand smoke exposure in homes For most of non-smoking teenagers, they may be in the risk of second-hand smoke exposure due to smoking elders at home. In 2018, the second-hand smoke exposure rate of senior and vocational high school students at homes was 30.4% (male 30.6%, female 30.1%) (as shown in Fig. 3-20), and the rate for junior high school students at home was 29.8% (male 30.3%, female 29.3%) (as shown in Fig. 3-21). In comparison to the survey results of previous years, the second- hand smoke exposure rate of teenagers in homes has been improved; nonetheless, the second- hand smoke exposure of teenagers at homes is still high.
