03 The TAIWAN MICE Venue Directory E-book, issued by MEET TAIWAN, is a guidebook that provides information about exhibition and meeting venues, including star-rated meeting hotels in Taiwan. There is contact information, venues by region, and venue facilities including the number of function rooms and largest room capacities. In addition, Muslim-friendly venues and hotels are marked (information based on Tourism Bureau data). Taiwan's Bureau of Foreign Trade (BOFT), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) has been working toward improving Taiwan's MICE industry since 2009. To promote investment, the BOFT launched the Taiwan's MICE Promotion Program (MEET TAIWAN), which serves to provide MICE services, strengthen international competitiveness, and promote Taiwan as a major global exhibition destination.
